Audio books

I’m convinced. Suddenly. It is nice to have someone reading out a book to you. Especially, because it allows you to do something else at the same time. Like cleaning, or ironing, or other mundane household tasks. I am convinced because I’ve heard Will Quadflieg read Herman Hesse’s Steppenwolf; a book that’s impossible to reread for me. Still, I want to. Because it made such a huge impression a long time ago.

The only drawback is that I read at least six times faster than any narrator. I never knew that reading a book took so much time.
